Catalogue of the exhibition "Glass Flowers from the Bersellini Collection" (Villa Carlotta, Tremezzina, Como, July 14 – September 9, 2018). On this occasion, Villa Carlotta, continuing in the direction of it former owners, opens its rooms to the Enrico Bersellini Collection. This collection, which has been growing since the 1970s, features rare and precious examples of the age-old art of glassmaking, expressed in various forms, such as those dedicated to the theme of flowers. The collection comprises over two hundred and fifty pieces, representing an important sampling of 20th-century Murano glass production, alongside the results of more recent research. In addition to Ercole Barovier, Napoleone Martinuzzi, and Toni Zuccheri, contemporary designers and artists, from Franca Petroli to Maria Grazia Rosin and Silvia Levenson, often worked for historic, world-renowned glassworks, creating unique and captivating pieces.
