From March 24 to June 17, 2018, the museum and botanical garden of Villa Carlotta will host Urpflanze, an exhibition conceived specifically by Giovanni Frangi for these spaces. A series of works, inspired by the plant world, reveals the primordial life force of plants, evoking it through images of large, colorful canvases, monochrome engravings, and installations distributed throughout the villa's rooms and its extensive grounds.
