The catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition Luisa Albertini. Giorno per giorno, segni forme colori, curated by Elena Di Raddo, Darko Pandakovic, and Maria Angela Previtera, at Villa Carlotta (Tremezzina, September 21 – December 8, 2024). The volume, with contributions by Claudia Albertini, Elena Di Raddo, Magda Noseda, Darko Pandakovic, and Maria Angela Previtera, features reproductions of the works on display: tapestries, enamel on copper, and jewelry created by Luisa Albertini throughout the span of her career. Luisa Albertini (Como, 1918–2018), over the course of her long artistic activity—from the 1930s to the early 2000s—explored a wide range of techniques. Her earliest works consist of studies—portraits and drawings from life—as well as graphic works. In 1951 she presented glazed terracotta pieces at the 9th Triennale. The pivotal period of her artistic career took place between the 1970s and the 1990s, when she created tapestries, painted wood panels, metal sculptures, and jewelry.
